Your Idle Computer, Paid In USDC
A small tray app runs open models when your machine would otherwise sit idle. Every token it serves earns you a share of what the developer paid, sent to your wallet in USDC.
macOS 13 Ventura or later. Windows and Linux are next.
Four Steps, Then It Runs Itself
-
Install the app
It lives in your menu bar or tray and uses Ollama under the hood. Nothing to port-forward.
-
Link your wallet
The app shows a short code; approve it here with your wallet. The app never touches your keys.
-
Benchmark
A quick test measures memory and speed, assigns a tier and suggests the models that fit.
-
Earn per token
Set limits and a schedule — only when idle, only at night — or pause any time.
Tiers, From Your Benchmark
Usable memory is your GPU's VRAM, or about 70% of unified memory on Apple Silicon. Bigger models pay more per token.
Phones aren't supported. Models also need a minimum speed (about 15 tokens/s) to serve live chat.
How You Get Paid
The math
You earn 70% of the price of every token you serve, times a reliability multiplier between 0.5× and 1.1× based on uptime, speed and spot-check results.
earnings = price × tokens × 70% × reliabilityIf your machine fails partway through an answer, you're still paid for the tokens it delivered.
The rules
- Paid in USDC on Base, straight to your wallet
- Earnings unlock after a 7-day review period
- Withdraw once you have $10 or more available
- A tax form (W-9 or W-8BEN) is required before your first payout
Honest expectations
Earnings depend on demand for the models your machine can run, and on how often it's online. Open models are cheap per token, so a single desktop earns modest amounts. Check your electricity cost against the earnings estimate the app shows you before you leave it running.
Operator rules
You'll see prompts pass through your machine: never log, store or share them. The network sends hidden test prompts to confirm each node runs the model it claims. Nodes that fail them get less traffic, then get banned.

Connect your wallet now. When the app ships, linking your machine takes one code.
